Staying in touch

We understand that staying in touch with your relative is more important now than ever. Not being able to visit your loved ones makes each phone conversation or video call even more precious.

There are a number of ways you can stay in touch with your relative.

  • Phone us: You can leave a message for your relative with our admin team at reception. They will pass on your message either that afternoon, or the following morning.
  • Facebook messages: Share your message via Facebook by private messaging the nursing home. This way you can send videos and photos. Staff will share your message with your relative either that afternoon, or the following morning.
  • Arrange a phone or video call: Contact us by phone or Facebook to arrange a suitable time for a phone or video call with your relative. The nursing home will coordinate this by preparing a phone or tablet to call, Skype or WhatsApp video call you.

There are times when our nursing homes receive a high volume of messages and calls, so while our staff continue to focus primarily on delivering high quality care, there may be a small delay in your messages being responded to.

In the meantime, please be reassured that relatives will be contacted if there is anything they need to be aware of.

Our Facebook pages

Each of our nursing homes has their own Facebook page. They are a great way to stay up to date and find out what our nursing homes have been up to. You can also use them to leave a message for your relative. Simply private message the home with your photo, video or message and they will share it with your relative. They won’t be able to do this straight away but will pass your message on as soon as they can.
